8 to 4 on accident.

Discuss all things ear stretching

Yep, I stretched from 8g to 4g accidently. I was going through my bag of tapers and tunnels, and I must have not seen my 6g when I grabbed my 4g bag thinking it was the 6. So I proceeded to stretch my ear with it, and it was pretty painful and my right ear did end up bleeding a bit but I went through with it. My ears throbbed for a day or two after but its painless now(6 days later). My question is do you think I damaged my ears? And how long should I wait for my next stretch considering I skipped 8 to 4? thanks

I'd wait a few weeks for it to heal up, then after that do the oil massages. Every few days you can do what I do and try and see if the next size taper will go through, and if there's any resistance at (or pain), let it be and continue waiting.
I've still got scar tissue from when I had stretching oopsies (before I got to this site and learned how stretching is REALLY supposed to be done) and because of that it's probably going to take me twice as long to stretch than if I'd gotten this info before I started.

Also if there's one thing I've learned, you really do need to double check all your jewellery beforehand!! I skipped from 12g to 8g when I was starting because I thought the 8g was a 10.
