OK so last night I decided to stretch my ear for the first time. I was at a 14G for about 3 years now and I just went ahead and stretched from a 14G to a 6G. It didn't even really hurt, my ear is not red and it does not bleed. Did I just get lucky or is that what is supposed to happen. Here is a picture.

It looks a little red in the pic. I'd advise against skipping so many sizes from here on out. You can do some real damage if you dnt stretch your lobes slowly. Wait at LEAST 1 month before you attempt stretching it more. Longer if necessary. Its a slow process. You dnt want to end up with a lobe like mine I can tell you that much.

Honestly, I think you should go back to 14G, wait a few months, and go one size at a time from there. I know skipping smaller sizes doesn't seem like a big deal but it sets the foundation for all of your future stretches. You don't want to start out with a bunch of scar tissue.

I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Well thank you for the advice. But what I think that I am going to do is just leave the 6G in for a month or 2 and then stretch just one size at a time from now on. I'm not going to go back to a 14G now.

If you're not going to downsize, you definitely need to wait WAY more than a month before you do your next stretch. Unless you don't mind having wrinkly, blown-out lobes...

You stretched 2.4mm, it might not seem like a lot, it might have not "hurt" much but you indeed did damage to your lobes.
You should at least wait 3-4 months at the least then continue stretching.

Well I personally know from experience cause one of my friends stretched his ear. But he did it farther than me. He stretched from a 12G to a 0G in one shot and his ear turned out fine. And I know someone who stretches his ear every week and his ears look fine too.
