What I'm interested in seeing is older people who have long since removed mods.
I think stretched lobes (sans jewelry) would look okay 50 years from now, sort of a 'Buddha' effect.
Slightly off topic: The argument of "you'll look weird old with all those tattoos and piercings" is common, but rarely do people take into account that we all age together as a generation, its not as if we are suddenly cast into a new age group. The same percentage of 18-25 year olds modded out today vs the percentage of modded will remain the same when they become 65-72 year olds.
Body modding has been around for awhile, but its never before been as big of a part of popular culture until now. Its still growing. AND even if it does die out, it is a part of this current generation's culture and we'll take that with us to our graves. The same way our grandparents grew up driving cars when their grandparents were horse and buggy.
