Okay, so I am planning on stretching my ears, (I'm at a normal 18g or 16g right now) but I noticed that on the back of my ears, it looks like I have scar tissue. I'm not sure what to call it, but it just looks weird. What could this be and how can I fix it? Will this cause any problems during stretching? I am very worried. Also, I have been pierced for many years, and it has healed. Although, I do remember the back having crusties after getting my piercing.
Here is a picture:

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

That is defiantly scar tissue and it will probably make stretching a longer process for you. Im guessing you got it done with a gun... Anyway vitamin E oil over the course of 4-6 months will reduce the scar tissue. If your going to stretch i would recommend getting them re pierced at at least 14g if not 12g or 10g. Just remember stretching is permanent there is no guarantee they will close up.
