Acrylic Tapers, Stainless steel tunnels?

Hey there!

My name is Kat, I am not technically new to stretching, I had my ears to a 0 last year, but I took them out for whatever reason.
I never had problems stretching them, I used stainless steel tapers. I am about to restretch one of my ears (the other isnt pierced anymore) but I accidentally ordered acrylic tapers.
Is it okay for me to stretch with acrylic, as long as I am using stainless steel tunnels right after stretching? Since the acrylic won't be in my ears for long?

(I know some people do not have any issue with acrylic tapers, but most people do, so I am just curious!)

Thanks in advance!

Yes! As long as you wash and clean the tapers and your lobes with antibacterial soap and/or salt water. DO NOT use hydrogen peroxide on newly stretched ears.

Happy stretching!
