Can't get it through, 8's have been in for over 2 months. Any pointers? Pain begins at the point where the taper hits size 6. I try right after a hot shower and use oil for lubricant.

There is a pretty big difference between 8G and 6G, so be patient. Otherwise use the Teflon tape wrap method on your plugs, it will make it less of a jump.

I managed to get them in with a bit force, nothing to drastic. Every other stretch prior experienced no pain so when this one actually did i was a bit worried. I'm a lefty and i always start with my left lobe and that one seems to be a bit more stubborn then the right. The right went in to problem, the left hurt quite a bit, sore for hours after but no blood/nasty side effects. Lobes are down to normal, now the waiting begins.
