I've tried taping before (to make my ears looser before a stretch) and the tape is always pushed off the plug ...

My goal size is currently 00g (at tops maybe 1/2" in the VERY distant future.) But I'm glad to hear that close=good lol So would they be too bad at 00g ya think?
P.S. Yes, acrylic is the devil D= I've really tried to make up for it with extra SSS, but my next size up I'll definitely have to get back ...

Oh, btw guys, do my piercings seem too close to my head? I have attached lobes and I had them done at CLaire's awhile back and it wouldn't surprise me if they messed them up =P

Wow, thanks so much! Very informative, I just hate throwing money away at plugs that are wayy over priced (Hot Topic, because buying online is out of the question right now) and that I only wear for 1-2months. But maybe they're worth it lol

The only time I think they start being really worth it is when you're at a 4 or 6g (although you can purchase them as small as 10g)

7/16"-1/2" would be my dream size (= but everyone's ears are different and respectively have different sizes that suite their ears (and Persinality) best.
