down sizing might be advisable. After each occurance like this, down sizing is always some help of ear-stress relief. You should probably SSS *sea salt soak*. Do you use any type of lube? Sometimes the case is your ears drying up. mhm.

2 weeks is not long enough to wait. If you really dont want this to happen again go down a size, or even 2, and wait the better of 2 months. Yeah its a long time compared to 2 weeks but this wait will ensure your ears dont look like a bomb field and youll for sure be ready to move up agian

what i use to do is keep the back ones on and pull the front ones off so when i put them back on i can look in the mirror from a front view, cause its much more difficult trying to see behind you than infront.

i dont think feeling a bit of pain on the first pair is a terrible thing, only that you might want to wait longest on moving up, they are very fragile when they are first streched. just treat them kind is all.
