Re: My ears are in extream need of help

It looks like whatever you are using on your ears is drying them out. I would get some jojoba oil and do some oil massages and stay at 2g for a bit longer, until they look healthy again.

Re: 2g - 0g stretch

Well 2g-0g is a 2mm jump and it is hard for a lot of people. I would recommend downsizing for another couple weeks and try again. Also, if you are using a taper be sure to use plenty of lube.

Re: ear stretching

You could also get your ear scalped, which would help you get to your next size as well.

Usually double flared plugs are 1-2mm bigger than the wearing area. So depending on how stretchy your lobes are will determine how long hard it will be to put them in.

Re: Need help just stretched to a 2g

Because I'm tired of those things you are supposedly obliged to do when stretching your ears... This is skin this is probably the most versatile part of your body. I stretched mine fastly (7/8 inch in 6 months) with homemade fimo plugs and I kept them in my ear until healing (not switching to glass ...

Re: Need help just stretched to a 2g

For one, I would take those tapers out and put in a pair of glass or stainless steel plugs, which will aid in the healing process.

Earlobe don't fucking care about what type of plugs is in...

Bacteria collects in porous material (acrylic) but does not on glass or steel, so yeah, they do care ...

Just about every glass company makes 1g plugs and tapers. A lot of people go there between 2 and 0.

Re: Is there anything else to clean with?

Like the other poster said, stay away from alcohol. If you have sea salt (no iodine), then mix 1/8th teaspoon of the salt into one cup of warm water. Or just simply use a bit of non-scented soap in the shower.
