1g stretch
Just stretched up to 1g. When I was stretching my fistula got caught on the lip of the plug where the o-ring sits. It was stuck, so I just pushed it through instead of pulling it out. Do you guys think that could cause any complications? Thanks!

Tear perhaps?
Not really sure what happened, but earlier tonight I noticed one of my ears was slightly red and also slightly sore which seemed strange because my last stretch was about a month and a half ago. I took out my plug to investigate and noticed a small amount of what looked like dry blood or puss. I ...

wood and double flare
Hi everybody
I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with wooden double flair jewelry. Recently I bought some and wasn't expecting them to be harder to put in than flat flair, but I was very wrong haha. Does anybody know how to do this? I've tried to use minimal oils, because I'm ...

Going naked
Meaning leaving ears without jewelry, of course.
I was just wondering the best way to go about this. I've tried for the past few weeks for a few hours at a time and was curious a good amount of time to leave them out. Suggestions?

Re: Taping advice?
Yeah, I've been using the PFTE. I'm pretty safe about stretching, so I'm pretty surprised!
Thanks for the oil advice. I typically always use my jajoba once a day in the shower, but I'll be sure to be more active with it. I already downsized back to a 2g. Thinking that maybe even 4g just to be safe ...

Taping advice?
Well, after about a month and a half of being at 2 I started taping my way up to the next size. One layer every 5-7 days. The most recent time that I went to tape I noticed that there was a very small fleshy lump right above the fistula. I'm a little worried that it may be a very small blow out ...

It doesn't seem to be irritated. I'm keeping a pretty good eye on it to make sure it doesn't do anything it's not supposed to.
Yeah, I was thinking about taping. Not 100% sure what I'm doing there, but I hear a layer of Teflon tape every week and new tape every month is a pretty good method.

Not sure if this would be bad or not. Advice?
So, I've been sitting at a 2g for about a month and a half or so, and decided I would try to put in a 0g taper. It went in part of the way, I could definitely feel a stretch, but the whole thing wouldn't slide in, so I decided to take it out. I guess it's because 0g is such a big leap compared to ...

Re: question ...
Your piercer messed up in all sorts of ways. Your ears need a good 6 months post piercing before they're ready to stretch, and after at least 4-6 weeks between each stretch.
Agreeing with Corazon, It would probably be best starting over after letting your ears heal for several months then taking it ...

Re: 8g to 6g lobe stretch
Two weeks for each size is not long enough, even at small sizes. Small sizes are just as important as bigger ones. You should be waiting about 6-8 weeks, or until you can put in the next size without pain or a lot of resistance.
