Re: pain and bleeding...

2-0g is the first of the big stretches. it is a 2 mm stretch, while the ones previous have been 1mm or less. many people suggest the taping method only once you get to these sizes, because it allows the stretch to be more gradual instead of tapering up 2 mm in one quick stretch. if you bled, its a ...

Re: help im new

downsize to the smaller size on the cracked lobe (several sizes down), treat it like a new piercing until its fully healed (sea salt soaks, vitamin e oil massages and NO silicone) and then try again. as a rule of thumb, silicone is bad unless your ears are fully healed for a very long time. they ...

Re: Stretching The "Wrong" Way?

I Understand People May Come To This Board Seeking Guidance, But To Completely Shut Down One Method Of Stretching As Completely Invalid Is Stupid And Wrong. Especially If It's Because They Fear Someone Will ...

Re: another 'bleeding ear' topic...

You need to replace the tapers with plugs. Tapers are never meant to be worn as jewelry, only tools. Just stay at 5 mm for at least a month, doing sea salt soaks and gently washing with anti-bacterial/anti-microbial soap then after a couple weeks remove the jewelry and massage your lobes with some ...

Re: help! advice?

your ears are just simply not ready. there is a basic guide to wait-time (at least 6-8 weeks between each stretch), but everybody is different, and yours simply just may need more time. downsize back to 10g, do sea salt soaks (1/4 tsp non-iodized salt ((sea salt, kosher, epsom)) for every cup of ...

Re: Who Really Takes The Time To Care???

No one thinks they're better than anyone else, people are just trying to promote the correct words.

Kinda taking a big leap there speaking for the general public! I have heard many people belittle others over this very subject. I've seen that you stay tactful in your advice/corrections, but you ...
