Re: Brass Bullet Casing Gauges???

Brass is a copper/zinc alloy. Unless you're allergic to either one, you should be OK.
But remember that copper does oxidize, and even a shell casing will do this; so much like dime-store "gold", it can turn your skin green if left in for too long.

For a once in a while wear, I wouldn't see it being ...

Re: Dry/flaky skin irritated Help

Use a moisturizing oil or cream to clear that up.

The harsh soap is likely what causes it. I use Dr Bronner's peppermint, and it can cause a bit of the same for me. But I solve it with either a little bit of coconut oil, or a natural moisturizer cream I get from my shave shop.

Re: Having fun with my 2g tunnel

The contrast of the blue against your hair is awesome!

I love my silicone tunnels. I'm a fiend for bright shirts, and I'm building a collection of tunnels to match them all.

Re: Introduction and a picture

Looks good! You're not stretching with silicone though, are you?

Didn't do the entire jump from 7/8" to 24mm with silicone. I used PTFE tape on my glass double-flares and slowly worked up to 23.5mm. I've had good luck going this route since I reached a half inch: Tape it up most of the way, then ...

Re: Introduction and a picture

Recently stepped things up to a 24mm.
This is the difficult part about being a Sasquatch; even being 1mm shy of 1-inch, I just don't think this *looks* all that big by comparison to my overall stature. Maybe it's just my perception since I've seen the slow progression over time.

Re: Introduction and a picture

Grrrr.

Is there a way to resize pix with BBCode, or to have it frame up with scrolling? Or am I doomed to a life of my pix getting autocropped?

Re: Introduction and a picture

New double flared Pyrex glass 7/8". Got a pair in clear and in red. Kinda bummed they didn't have more colours.

7/8" is my 1 year sober celebration. 8 more days to one year of clean living. I went up from a 19mm (3/4") to a 20mm without issue, then started taping my way up gradually with the heavy ...

Re: Advice needed?

For your question regarding sterilization of metals w/o boiling:

While it's not full sterilization, isopropyl alcohol is one of the most widely available and potent microbicidals you can safely use on metals. Ammonia, peroxide, and chlorine based antibacterials can react with the metal. Isopropyl ...
