Going from 2g to 0g is actually skipping a size and is a 2mm jump. And that is why everyone has trouble with it. You should get yourself a pair of 1g plugs and wait at 1g for about 3 months before you stretch to 0g.
It may also be helpful to look into taping if you haven't tried that yet. It is ...

Don't try to wear plugs when you still have scabs on the inside of your lobes! you need to let that go naked and give it a chance to heal or you might get some really bad thinning down the road. It's hard to asses your situation without pictures.

Re: How long to wait for wood plugs?
In addition to it being porous and potentially harboring bacteria. Wood also has a tendency to be "grabby" and give you more friction inserting and taking it out. That could irritate healing tissue and may prolong the healing process. Or worst case scenario give you a micro tear.

For GWS you could probably find a local piercer to put in a direct order for you. BAF it not the only retail option.

Sounds like you just have dry skin. Just put some oil or lotion on it.

Re: Can you make 00g look like 1/2 inch?
Oracle makes stone plugs you can get called a Mayan flare. The front flare is much larger than the back flare. I checked and the front flare on 00g is 9/16" so that should solve your problem. Also a mayan flare is a classy style of plug that really features the beauty of the stone. Have fun with ...

Re: So I fucked up my ear...
I can't really say without pictures. But it is some kind of tear because of the blood. Once you compromise the skin like that the part that has torn is the only part stretching and not your entire hole. So it can cause your piercing to migrate leading to thinning. It is your body so you do what you ...

I understand and I don't really expect extreme complexity. But a little something would be nice. And they could make a top hat style with a bigger front.

Ok I will say that 6g is my milestone. It was my goal size and I feel it is where hanging styles start to look really cool.

Re: So I fucked up my ear...
Honestly both of your options are bad. I would think it would be better to actually wear shitty 4g earrings than leave the pressure on a tear. Even better than that would be to let them go naked for a while to let them heal and re-stretch from there. I don't really know how you got to 2g without 4g ...
