I think I went through the same thing as you recently. It took me a year to get one ear to 0g but it was hard work! That last step from 6mm to 8mm was so difficult that in the end I bought a 7mm stretcher and plug to help! I managed to get my second ear to 0g after about 14 months ...

That's so awesome. How long did it take you since beginning to end? I can't wait until I reach my goal size and I can splurge on some cool plugs. I've finally got a goal size and its 1/2in. 00g is too small and 7/16th is just not a round enough number for me to feel comfortable at.
