I have a cousin that lives in mexico. He's fluent in english, but its always a direct translation from spanish so some words are weird.

They call stretched ears 'expansores' which is 'expanders' in english, so when I see him he asks about how my expanders are coming haha.

Does anyone get these? I'm at 00 for 3 months now and I noticed a dull soreness, upon closer examination, i realized it was a pimple on my lobe, just a few mm away from my plug. I popped it and it's fine now, but I'm wondering if this is common.

8-6 was the worst for me. I couldn't sleep that night.

Sometimes tapers will be slightly larger than the size they are said to be. This makes it easier to get your plugs in after stretching.

I could just google this, but I like conversation better; how exactly do they do the scarring? Is it like a wood carving blade or something?

Depending on what kind of silicone plugs you have, you can fold them up, put them in your lobes, and let them unfold. You could prolly get away with wearing them now, if you want to try it. If it starts to get uncomfortable take them out and put your regular jewelry in for a few weeks and try again ...

Honestly, If that happened to me I'd be so freaked out I'd give up on stretching all together, and just take out the other.

Not saying you should do that, but it seems counter intuitive to still be thinking about stretching when you just came close to losing your whole ear haha.
