Brass is nice and its heavier but I didnt really pick brass its just what the Dayak use and I thought they were nice looking.

Acrylic is one of the worst things you can put in your ear. You have a higher chance of getting infections and stuff in your ear. It's really unhealthy. If you want to make homemade plugs i would recommend making wood ones. It's a lot easier and cheaper. Go to like a hardware store get a wooden ...

Use a salt water saline and/or anti-bacterial hand soap to clean it everyday. Massage it with jojoba oil, coconut oil or olive oil a couple times a day until your ear is red (makes you blood circulate better). If massaging and cleaning it doesn't help I would down size drastically and then start ...

It's also one of my pet peeves when people say that. A gauge is a size or a measurement. They should say "I'm going to start stretching my ears."

I wouldn't wear or stretch with silicone. Its very unhealthy for your ears. If anything use organic plugs, stainless steal tapers, ear weights, or stone plugs/tapers..Not silicone or acrylic.
