Try No Regrets at the top of the high street.
Depends what you're after though. Some (rarer) things are always gonna be worth travelling for.

Re: Acrylic sealer on plugs
Pretty much any resin will (probably) work. Different people like different brands depending on curing time, or local weather...
Most go for the two part kinds, with a resin and a hardener. Get rid of the bubbles before it sets. You need to seal the photo before too, so it doesn't go all soggy ...

Re: Soft but safe material for tunnels?
Nope.
If its squishie or overly soft its going to be porous and not safe for fresh stretches.
I prefer glass > metal though. Its generally much more rounded and keeps heat a bit better.

I buy nearly everything from http://www.bodyartforms.com or http://www.steelnavel.com Zuki-imports and mega-robot have a pretty good collection too. It depends what you want though.

Re: Titanium
I wear different things depending what the weathers like or how my ears are feeling.
For stretching I just stuck to steel or glass.

Re: Titanium
Titanium allergies are really quite rare, though they're often more serious than nickel ones, which a HUGE amount of people have sensitivity issues with. Steel contains nickel, titanium doesn't :) Titanium is used as hypoallergenic jewellery, steel isn't. There are different grades though too. Look ...

Re: Oil
I've never been that keen on emu oil. I personally think it smells a bit funny, not horrible just odd.
But it goes a bit grainy in the cold and leaves residue on my jewellery, and meh. I prefer jojoba or holey butt'r for carrying around.
BAF sell emu, jojoba and naked oil. As well as holey butt'r ...

Re: using tape
I like you, new person above
Teflon tape is super easy to find too.
I've never had huge amounts of problems with it, apart from the first wrap or so creasing up on small sizes in awkward places (wrap tight!)

Re: cant use stainless steel
Glass (or quartz which is stronger in smaller sizes) labrets come as small as 16g. GWS make 18g nostril screws too, so I'm sure it wouldn't take much to get them to make labrets too. (You could probably get them to do pretty ends too) They're really nice.
