Re: help me please
Yeah, there is a HUGE difference between being able to change out jewelry and being ready to stretch.
I like Corazon's advice on getting some nice jewelry at your initial piercing size. This way you will know what kind of jewelry styles you like, and by taking your time you will be able to take in ...

Re: Help please, new to stretching :\
Agreed. You should not be stretching this quickly. Your body is already trying to heal something it identifies as a wound, so you need to let your body do it's job first. If you keep trying to stretch your ears before they are completely healed, you are likely to get scar tissue build up (and that ...

Re: How will I know my piercing has healed?
5-6 months is a good average, keep in mind that everyone heals at a different pace. If they are relaxed and there is a bit of what feels like extra space after 5-6 months your ear may be ready. Just remember not to force anything

Re: 14G to 8G stretch
You don't want to wear the tapers at all post stretching. They are awkwardly shaped and can cause damage. Ideally you don't want to wear plastic either because it is porous and can harbor a lot of bacteria that can prolong your healing significantly. Ideally you want surgical steel.

Re: Help, lost an O-Ring!
Most times when I have lost an o-ring, I don't have an issue with it falling out. If you are worried I would try cutting up a band aid. Cut the adhesive part into small, thin, vertical strips and wrap it around the end of the plug. Should be a decent Temporary fix until you can replace the o-ring ...

Re: 14G to 8G stretch
I would not advise going from 14G to 8G. It's important to Gradually increase the size of your earlobes. Proper ear stretching involves no pain at all. My advice is to go to 12G first.
