I completely agree with corozon! Get them pierced with Titanium G34 (that's surgical grade stuff), which you can buy from most well kitted out shops, and most places online =]

Aaaaaand 6 months down the line I thought I would just post to say that it has completely healed up.

I'll admit there was an infection, but that's cause it's acrylic, and I got that sorted with a short course of Flucloxacillin (Y)

All is good now though, and I'm seriously considering getting the ...

Did your piercer even check if there were are veins or capillaries in the way first? Cause it sounds like he's pierced right through one :/

I would recommend the ear that has the biggest gap between piercings, cause lets face it you're going to want to stretch it too :L Just bare in mind how close they are to the edge of the lobe is all as well.

I'm immediately drawn to the fact that this has been going on for two months now, with no sign of any let up :/ If it was me I know I'd have taken that one out and let it heal already.

Obviously if it's irritated and painful you're going to be moving it and cleaning it a lot, and this could easily ...

In your original post you put up two links to Amazon? I have the top one (in white) in my conch at that size! How cool is that? :L I was thinking of getting earskins for it though. to make the hole look bigger :L

It does help, thank you very much =] It's all cleared up now though, although it does make a really weird sound when I move the tunnel. Kind of like it's wet? :/ It seems to be fully healed though so I don't think this is a problem...

The only other sites I can find are ones giving instructions on how to make your own.
