hi,
So I know this reply may be a little late but I hope the following answers your questions.
If one ear feels less elastic than the other, then it will effect how large you can stretch. However, daily massaging with Jojoba oil can help your skin regain it's elasticity, but that's not what you're ...

Re: Tore my earlobes stretching to a 0 guage
Please don't try stretching them after a week. I know this reply is a little late, and I hope it's not too late but my advice would be for you to wait a whole month before trying to stretch again.

Re: Up sizing
Hi phoebsdev,
It's absolutely fine to stretch without using a taper. It's simply easier with a taper device. However a taper shouldn't be used once you pass 10mm (00g) anyway.
My only advice would be to not used a flared plug or tunnel and make sure your ears have fully healed before you attempt ...

Re: Gradual stretching?
Hi sharlibird,
Don't worry too much about not being able to stretch as fast as you did before. 4 - 5 weeks is a rather short amount of time to wait between stretches, but it's also not uncommon for people to stretch faster. Everyone is different, but the normal time frame would be 2 months or more ...

Re: Minimum wait time needed for safely moving up?
It's not a stupid question at all. In fact a lot of people have the same question when it comes to waiting time between stretches.
It's great that's you're taking your time to stretch and not rushing it. Two months in between stretched should be enough if your ears are healthy and fine. The ...

Re: Stretching Problem
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. Was super busy last week.
Yes, the red circle that comes out when you push it is scar tissue. The texture of it looks slightly smoother than normal skin right? You won't be able to get rid of it completely, but give it a long LONG time and it will improve slightly ...

Re: Stretching Problem
Hi cRANIUM,
From what you've described, it sounds like you've had a blowout and it didn't heal properly so now you have scar tissue build up in the area where the tear was.
Does it look visibly swollen? If it looks visibly swollen with a red ring of raw flesh even though it does not feel raw then ...

Re: Does more Care = less wait - stretch times
Taking extra care of your ears will help your ears stretch faster with less complications, but if I was to tell you how many weeks you can shave off the normal recommended wait time would be really foolish of me.

How long are you wearing your acrylic plugs in?
I have nothing against acrylic plugs, I think its a great material to get awesome designs out, but it really isn't a material made for daily use. Acrylic plugs are more fashion pieces than everyday wearing plugs.

Re: Sore, dry and irritated ear lobes
If you hadn't said anything, I would of guessed it was your ears getting irritated by the steel. However, if you are sure that your ears are not reacting to the steel, then it may just be weather conditions.
