Re: Accidentally stretched from 4g to 0g...

Everything is okay! No blowout, no pain, nothing. It's fully healed and it's very comfortable. I'll just say this is my goal size, since I accidentally surpassed it. ^^;

They're not thin at all, and look very good surprisingly!! I'll post pictures later. : )

Re: Are my lobes too thin?

Your lobes look great! They look very healthy, I'm sure you care for them quite well!
They aren't too thin, stretch as you like! But if you notice them getting thinner, stop immediately.
Happy stretching!

Re: it STILL won’t fit????

Yes! There is a 1g taper. You can find it here : http://www.urbanbodyjewelry.com/1-gauge-ear-stretch-kit.html
You can STRETCH with acrylic. Do. Not. Wear. It. As. Jewelry!
Just get into a hot shower, it'll loosen your lobes up. Make sure to wear your jewelry in the shower.
After you get out, dry off ...

Accidentally stretched from 4g to 0g...

So, I was planning to stretch to a 2g, my goal size, and today, there-four days afterward, my friend, who leant me the tapers- she's at a 00g- told me it looks more like a 0g. And we measured it, and sure enough, it was a 0g.
It got infected and I cleaned it out, and now nothing else is wrong. It ...

It could be that you've got scar tissue built up. Have you tried salt-soaking and massaging them with oil? It could help break down scar tissue!

I don't know how else to help. What you're doing seems fine.
I found some 54mm ssilicone tunnels, and I'm not sure if they're the right size, but-- https://www.kingsbodyjewelry.com/2and18inch54mm.aspx

Re: Ear Stretching Newbie!

If you had just gotten them pierced, wait a bit before stretching!! Until they're completely healed, which will be 6-8 months depending on how fast you heal. Do not stretch until they're completely healed!

But, when you do start, I have some tips!

- Use stainless steel to stretch and / or wear ...

Re: Stretching Addiction?

I agree completely! I'm only at an 3.2 mm, and my goal size is a 6-8mm, and waiting is so hard- but I know it's essential in healthy lobes and decreased scar tissue!
But yes, I completely understand the addiction! Just don't harm yourself along the way!

Re: Acrylic Tapers, Stainless steel tunnels?

Yes! As long as you wash and clean the tapers and your lobes with antibacterial soap and/or salt water. DO NOT use hydrogen peroxide on newly stretched ears.

Happy stretching!
