Re: Wanting a second opinion on this..

I feel better going down and waiting awhile instead of making problems down the line. As I said, I was taping so it wasn't a big stretch by any means. Guess that my left ear might just be the more difficult one this time around.

I think I'm going to wait 6 weeks, then start taping again and just ...

Wanting a second opinion on this..

I've been very slowly taping up to 5/8 over the past few months, and finally this evening I got my jewelry in! No pain/resistance, right ear was happier than a pig in sh*t and then the left started to feel a little warm/sore.
I downsized considerably just to be on the safe side, my ear looked a ...

Goal size?

For the longest time, I was at 00g and happy, then after awhile decided to make 1/2" my goal. After getting to THAT, I then decided to go up a little bit more to 9/16. I really like how this looks on me now, but I can't decide if this is where I want to stay, or if I want to go bigger.

I really ...

Re: Jobs with stretched ears?

They will either see past the mods, and see the real value you can add to the company, or just sit there wondering what things laying around their office can fit through the holes in your ears.

It really does come down to the stores though (if you're looking retail). Like someone else said, and it ...

How long to wait between SS and Stone?

I ordered a pair of cat eye double flare plugs, and then a pair of single flare stainless(for right after stretching). My (silly) question is do I wait for the regular amount of time it would take for it to heal (say 2 months) before I can use the stone? Or should I wait longer since they're double ...

Re: Heya quick pricing question :)

Here it cost 80 to 100 canadian dollars for ONE microdermal.

It all depends on the reputation of the store you go to aswell. For the one higher end shop in my Tri-city, it's $100, and for the other shop that's as good but cheaper, it's $50-60 if you know the guy, and $60-70 otherwise (he has ...

Re: Fresh Stretches and Organics?

No I haven't done it before, I was only curious because everyone says it isn't ok and hasn't given any reason other than a chance of infection. I only wanted to know if there was a different reason that it was such a bad idea.

Fresh Stretches and Organics?

I've seen around this forum, and bodyartforms, to not use organics on fresh stretches. Is it only because they are porous and can harbour bacteria, or are there other reasons?

It also makes me want to ask, if the reason is cleanliness, if you did SSS and took proper care/cleaning of your stretch ...

Re: Having both lobes stretched

I prefer symmetry, but I have seen a few people with only the one and they looked good too. Do what you think looks best!
