Try and find a rubber band, you can wrap that around the back of it a few times and it should stop it from falling out, although I wouldn't really worry about it falling out in the first place.

okay, i had been missing an o ring from my tapers and my right one fell out i think it might have gone down the drain while showering. is there anything i can use as a replacment for the night until i can get another one?

Get yourself some plugs for starters. Never wear tapers as jewerly. They're intended to be stretching tools and that's all. Because of the extra weight in the back they can kinda screw your ears up.
