Cheers for that, however I've done something stupid and made my ear bleed slightly, so looks like I'll be chilling at 4mm for another month or so..

5mm stretch, 6mm taper
So it's been at least 2 and a half months since my last stretch, my ear is ready, and I have a 5mm tunnel ready and waiting, the problem is that the only stretching device I can get my hands on is a 6mm taper, no one in my city sells 5mm tapers for some reason. Any advice on how to do this without ...

Just do it, you're a teenager, you're supposed to ignore your parents and do what you want anyway. Of course it's immature, but no one really expects you to be mature at your age

No, it wouldn't, stretching your nostrils is perfectly possible without any major inconveniences.

As a general rule don't wear acrylic in fresh stretches, it makes infections more likely and can irritate your ears. They're fine in healed lobes though, so long as you don't have a reaction to them.

It's that simple. That'd account for the irritation. Get some stainless steel plugs and put them in.

Well if it's only been 3 weeks your ears won't be healed, but when they are, you should be able to leave them out overnight.
