I have really weird goal sizes, I either want 7/16ths or an inch and 1/4. And I hate how the inbetween those sizes look. Weird. Thoughts?

If tapers are so bad to use, along with acrylic jewelry, then why do companies sell packs of tapers intended to wear as jewelry?

Is using tapers after 8g bad? People on the ear stretching group on facebook said that after 8g you should start taping. Confused. (By the way, I am totally ridiculous for asking this when I'm not even stretching?)
