I dont shower to often, just dont, so i've been thinking maybe my ears will get infected BUT they're never open cause ive been really very kind to them. But then again im assuming that they have to be open to get infected. Do my ears need to be open to get infected(by open i mean sores or a cut or something)

I remember every time I got an infection on my body it was because of an open wound...but some people get their piercings infected...so I guess a hole in your ear would be considered an open wound, but I think you'd be fine if you just cleaned your ears every night what size gauge do you have?

They won't get infected, but they will get smelly! Infections are actually really rare. Take your plugs out at least every other day and wash them at the sink with hand soap or whatever's there.

Ive gone down a lot in size recently. scare tissue..., right now theyre healing up nice at a 10g.

Im not meaning being rude .. but just shower more ! Its really not that much trouble and showering does wonders for every part of your body .. your feet arm pits and "junk " need to be cleaned on a regular basis , plus your hair will look nice , you will have better skin , and trust me as a female we like men that smell nice .. good luck
