Should i be worried about this?

It seems that my piercer did something wrong when she pierced me.
The holes are on different spot of the ears.
Like, on the left ear the hole is much lower than on right ear.
Will this affect my stretching when im at higher gages?

Re: Should i be worried about this?

it shouldn't...but i guess it depends on how big you want the gauge...if you stop at 0g, you should be fine :) but if you're really concerned, go to a better piercer and get your ear re-pierced to match the other one
Right ear: 0g, two 6gs on lobe; 2g on cartilage....
goal: 00 on lobe! perhaps a 0g on cartilage?

Left ear: 8g, two 14gs on lobe; 14g on cartilage
goal: 00 on lobe!

well. we're talking of millimeters on the displacement. it doesn't bother me too much but im just a bit worried that it would look stupid at higher gages if its not on the same spot.
I paid 50euros for my ears to be pierced and it's a lot of money for me as im only 16. wouldn't want to repierce as im now at 4g and i'd need to start over and pay my ass off :s and i think i'm gonna aim for 3/4" or 7/8" .

Re: Should i be worried about this?

wow I'm not at those sizes that you want...I'm at a 0 (I live in the usa, it's really cheap here to get your ears pierced..like 10$) but i guess it wouldn't look too bad...does it look funny now?

$10 to get your ears pierced? It was $70 for me to get mine done.

Re: Should i be worried about this?

well. it doesn't look too funny now. it's just like a little difference. some ppl haven't even noticed it when i show them. well maybe i'm just too much of a perfectionist : D
i was just thinking that maybe it looks stupid when im at higher gages as the jewellery should cover the whole ear lobe( ?? ) atleas most of the ppl have it that way. and my other ear would have a little space on top of the jewellery.
Maybe some pictures may help you guys know what i'm talking about better? if i am able to get some uploaded ^^

If it doesn't bother you, don't worry about it. If the one is way too low, it could get too thin at larger sizes, so keep that in mind.

Wal-Mart and Piercing Pagoda are NOT "good!" They can't even fully sterilize the equipment, the people working there probably don't even know what an autoclave is. They have like maybe a couple days of "training" and are turned loose to pierce kids and even infants. You can't compare that to a professional body piercer who has completed a year (or more)-long apprenticeship and puts safety above everything. Not to mention those guns cause lots of scar tissue and the aftercare instructions they give you are the opposite of what you should really do. Sorry, I'm just VERY anti-gun because I had lots of traumatic experiences with ear piercings that wouldn't heal and stayed inflamed constantly. I always thought my body couldn't handle piercings until I started getting them done by professionals.

And tbh a professional really shouldn't be charging THAT much more for simple lobe piercings. My piercer charges $5 per lobe plus the cost of jewelry (which ends up being about $20).
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!
