im new to this website and i need help, with a piercing?

I got both my cartilages pierced yesterday with a needle and bar and i was half asleep this morning when i knocked it with my hand and i noticed that just above the piercing there was a blood line like a crack and i was wondering if it was serious or if it was just because its a new piercing?

a blood line can indicate infection . and cartilage is notorious for getting infected .. Id see a doc just to make sure , i know a girl who got an infected industrial piercing and she ended up on an I.V. pump she had to cary everywhere for like 2 months ,, good luck

its gone now after i cleaned it, i think it was because when i knocked it the blood ran a little and then dried, can you get an infection that quick? i noticed it the day after i got it done.
