How long should I wait?

Hello,

Quick question... Some of you might remember the complete nightmare I've had with my left lobe. It was pierced in March, tried to stretch it, let it close up, had it repierced (at 3mm) in mid August... That's a brief overview (minus a couple of infections!).

How long should I wait until I stretch it up to 4mm?? I think I should give it a few more months but am soooo impatient. My right lobe is happily up to 6mm/2g now :)

What do you think?

Re: How long should I wait?

If you were pierced in mid-august, mid-January would be the earliest you should really think about stretching. It takes a good while for initial piercings to heal enough that they can handle stretching. If you are dying to match sizes, I would encourage you to just let the 6mm lobe stay there until your other ear is caught up. Reasonably, it will probably be sometime around may or June. Only your body can tell you that for sure, but don't rush. There's no prize for getting there fast and damaged.

Hey,

Cheers for the reply.

Yeah, I'd initially said to myself no messing with that left lobe until around January... Ah well.

Cool - thanks for replying.
