Radcaz you are entitled to your opinion ( and your own preferance for ears ) but you are lumping people into categories that you you have created, you are saying "people with lobes smaller than you are only small because we are worried about or image " and thats just not the case .. i feel like you are worried about your image . I couldnt give a crap what someone elses size is in comparison to mine . but you are trying to imply that you are above us in some way because your lobes are bigger..( and that or stretches arent important or they are pointless ) does that mean you are intimidated by people with lobes larger than you ?.. Im sure someone with 3 in lobes thinks yours are tiny . Would you like someone with 3 in lobes to come here and insult and berate you because their lobes are bigger ?
would you like them to make rude speculations on why you are the size you are ?

honestly for most people ( its a fashion statement ) ( some for deeper reasons , but mainly aesthetic )

We are all free to decide how we want to look and if we like our lobes tiny or huge we should do it for ourselves and not worry what other people think .

Im sure to some one with a standard size piercing 4 ga seems big .

I just feel like you are being really picky . you are saying you are just giving your feelings on small stretches but if you dont like small stretches thats all you have to say . you dont like the look of it thats fine . but do not go around theorizing why we choose to stay at a small size .

this makes me wonder how tolerant you are in the rest off your life . Do people have to look like you , dress like you, listen to the same music , dare I say be the same race as you for you to respect them ?

Im not saying thats the case ., but your lack of tolerance for something as petty as ear stretching sizes really makes me wonder .....

Very well said! To be honest I think some of the "bigger is better" people are FAR more concerned with image than we are. Why else would they want to get huge lobes so fast and not be willing to stay at smaller sizes for very long?

I am perfectly happy satying at my 0g until the end of may/being of june which is alot more time than most recommend for healing....mostly staying at this size to really see if I really want to go any bigger, I love jewlery and the bigger you get there are fewer options and the jewlery cost more. I don't care if other stretchers who are bigger look my lobes and say they are too small bc guess what, THEY ARE MY EARS and no one else has any say so in the size all that matters is that I am happy:p

Well said. I was originally thinking of stopping at 2g or 0g since I work in an office, but I may eventually go to 00. There's no reason to go bigger or stay smaller just because someone else has a preference about your body. It is yours. Decorate as you please. : )

I Do Listen To My Own Advise.. I Felt It Wasn't Gonna Rip or Fold So I Push It On through With No Complications But Some Soreness, and Healthy Lobes To Prove It.
And Lol.. I Never Said i Didn't Appreciate Tiny Lobes, It Is True.. They Are Not My Preference, But The Point I Was Trying To Make Was My Opinion Should Hold More Validity Due To The Extent I've Stretched, How Can Rationalize Knowing More About Stretching Than Someone Who Has Stretched Further Than Your Self.

I've Pierced Nearly Everything They're Is To Pierce Multiple Times Which Include My: Septum, K9's, Cheeks, Nostrils, Chest, Eyebrows, Bridge, Wrist And Arms, Tongue Ect... True i Am New To Stretching But I Know Allot About The Overly Cautious Irrational People that Think The Worst Will Always Happen.. And I Come From A Big Group Of Friends Who All Share A Passion For Stretching And Modifications. A Few Of Us Have Lobes 2in.+ We All Talk About Are Experiences And Share the Same opinion About The Overly Cautious

Please don't tell me you are piercing other people. I remember you saying in another thread that doing a piercing with a safety pin and unsterilized jewelry was okay and I really hope you're not putting others at risk.

Just because you and your friends have stretched to large sizes doesn't mean your advice is automatically better than that of someone with smaller lobes or less piercings. Talk to a professional piercer (like someone from the APP, not just someone at a random tattoo shop) and see what kind of advice they give you.

Honestly, the idea that it's fine to be careless with stretching and piercings is kind of insulting to those who actually take it seriously. People train for years to become professional piercers, and you're stabbing yourself and others with unsanitary equipment. Some people take years to get to the lobe size they want, and you're telling people they'll be fine if they "ignore the pain" and rush through it.

Anyway, I'm done with this argument. All I'm going to say is that I believe piercing, tattooing, and stretching should be done as safely as possible. That way, they'll look as good as they possibly can and you can feel confident that they're safe for your body.
