Re: GIVING STRETCHING ADVICES...
lol i wasnt dissin u or anything like that. I was just giving my opinion which i feel i am entitled to. We are different people an obviously think very differently, i respect ur opinion an i agree that patience is a gud idea. I went up a size each week when i was at low sizes. once i tried to stretch to half inch i just fucked up, an now im payin for it with my ugly ass scar tissue. I didnt wait long enuf obviously but i thought it would be fine. I now have a blowout in my left ear just from extreme cold (went skydiving an the cold air made the fistula on my left ear freak out an push itslef out). I have an ugly ear and a normal ear. Its whatever lol cuz honestly i love my lobes even if one is a lil scarred up. like i was saying tho i wasnt trying to diss u. This whole thing is kinda rediculous considering everyones body is different, only they know when they are truly ready. Im not claiming to have an addiction, i did for a while when i was eager to move up sizes. I never skipped tho. I do oil massages religously now. Im only taping up from now on, no fuckin tapers. An seriously u shouldnt be mad about my opinion on lower sizes cuz only ur opinion matters, i know that in my mind only my opinion matters. If u like the size ur at then all power to u. sorry bout my gramatical errors, its late an im tired. happy stretchin. oh wait, one more thing, i didnt wait only a week before i tried the stretch to half inch, i waited like almost 2 months.

Yeah, and if you'd been researching safe stretching and getting advice from people with beautiful lobes for that long that would be fine!
And sorry if it seemed like I was angry at you, Nic; I was just speaking to everyone as a whole even though I used some examples of things you said. But glad to hear you're doing better with your lobes! Tape is good stuff but I've never had any luck with it. If I can't dead-stretch to 1G I'm going to give it another try though; I have a whole roll of it going to waste!
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

I don't think so.
Ok here's an example. Doctor 1: He study medecine since a few years. Doctor 2: He practice medecine since a few years. Which one give the best advices ? The one who read all the perfect things in books, or the one that have seen everything on different patients ? That's how I see it.

Re: GIVING STRETCHING ADVICES...
I get what you're saying, but you're acting like I have zero stretching experience. It's not some mysterious world that I've only read about; just because I haven't done anything wrong (although I do regret not waiting longer for my 6G stretch because it hurt a bit and got slightly crusty) doesn't mean I can't give advice to others. A doctor doesn't have to have every disease in order to be able to treat them.
Patience is a great thing to have, with stretching and with almost all other aspects of life.

Re: GIVING STRETCHING ADVICES...
magalo le matelot -->realistic advice (more likely followed, maby a little riskier depending on your body) less precautious advice.
corazon_de_oro-->proper advice(so you can get perfect lobes) super precautious advice.
Personally, i like to see both &compare the 2, i can relate to magalo le matelot cause i stretch faster then the recommended 6weeks, but that's just cause im impatient. So i like seeing both your advice:] &having smaller lobes isn't a bad thing, i think it means you have less experience, but that doesn't mean you cant give good advice. &having large lobes means you can speak from experience and tell what you did, but everybody's different so what worked for you may not work for someone else. Like i said i enjoy both your opinions on things:] Happy stretching, slow or fast.

Re: GIVING STRETCHING ADVICES...
What's so unrealistic about waiting 6 weeks though? You're going to have your stretches forever so what's 6 weeks when you look at the big picture?
And I've said this SO many times, but having small lobes does not mean I have no stretching experience! I'm at 2G and have been talking to people who have large, healthy stretches for well over a year... it's not like I just did my first stretch and am at 14G telling you guys how to do things.

Re: GIVING STRETCHING ADVICES...
Realisticly the majority of people stretching wont wait 6 weeks just to strech from 8g to 6g [for example]. &i never said having small lobes means you have no exprence, it just mean you have less, cause you cant tell me what strechin to 00g is going to be like, you may know tons about it, but youve never "experienced" it. You have a great knowlage of stretching &the proper way to do it. Smaller lobes doesnt change how good your advice is.

Re: GIVING STRETCHING ADVICES...
Personally I'd rather take the advice of someone who's waited a resonable time between stretches and had no problems than someone who hasn't been patient and ended up with blowouts, no matter who has the biggest lobes.
Like someone said, it's not a race.
I'd rather do it slow and be 100% sure I'm doing it right, than rush and take the gamble that something might go wrong. In my opinion it's just not worth the risk.
