Downsizing to thicken lobes?

I was talking to my drummer who went from 7/8 to 4 and is now back at 0 he said downsizing 5 or 6 sizes will do the trick. I want to know how far should I have to downsize to add some decent lobe? Mine arnt thin at all I'm at 7/8 ths but I want to go past an inch and I don't want To tear lol I use oil n stuff and take great care of my ears haha

It all depends on how much you want to thicken up your lobes and how thin your lobes are now. So you said yours are not that thin then just go down one or two if you really want...and this will thicken up your lobes.
Also sleep with your plugs out to increase blood flow.
And massage them daily to increase bloodflow.
This will also thicken up your lobes.
