Nothing bad right?

Okay so I got my ears pierced roughly 7 months ago at 18g. They felt very relaxed. I started stretching about 2 weeks ago (?). I started off with plain 16g hoops. non-acrylic, some kinda metal.I moved up to acrylic (although i dont think the material matters TOO much) 14g rings about 3-4 days later. Everything was okay.It felt just fine and they slipped in with relative ease. My friend wasnt quite ready to hand over their 12's, so after another 3-5 days I TRIED fitting in 10's. (keyword:tried)
They didn't go in, as I shoulve expeted, so I didnt pressure them, and i just put the 14's back in. After a few more days my sister handed in her 12's and they went through with relaticely no pain at all. After about two days I got in the 10's. Another 2-3 days and I got up to 8g. That's kinda where I came across my curiosity. My ears bled a little when I was trying to put in the 10's for the first time. I took them out and let them calm down, and they fit in the next day. A few days later, after my 8's were in, they began to bleed after I took them out for a few seconds. That problem vanished quickly however, I THINK all I had to do to fix it was take them out while showering and let them smoothe out. I got to 6g another 2 days after my 8's eased out. The 8's were fine. The only problem I had was when I tried to switch from 6g tapers to plugs of the same size, my ears pussed a little. I now plan to wait 2-3 weeks before the next size, for I think I'm going a little too fast. But here's my question: is there any doubt of them ever closing up? I only wanna go to 2g, and im gonna do the next to sizes slowly. But have I done anything before that cuts it a little too close?
Help would be appreciated. (:
(Sorry for the long paragraph)

Oh and just another sidenote: My ears have crust around/inside them most of the time. Is this bad or is it normal? Is it result of the previous bleeding?

yeah you are going way to fast . you need to wait at least 1 month between each size longer is even better , I know you have a goal in mind and want to reach it but your ears should never ever bleed or pus when stretching . stretching should be no different than changing out one set of plugs for another ,. If there is pain you are going to fast . If there is blood before during or after you are going to fast
If there is ever crust or pus you have gone to fast .
Its not enough for your ears to just feel ok or feel " a little loser " your ears actually need time to build collagen and stregthen before each stretch .
every time you stretch you make little gaps in the collagen and it takes time ( about 4-8 weeks ) for you body to replace the gaps with more collagen . when you stretch to fast ( the skin may look healed ) but the collagen hasnt had enough time to fill in the gaps . So when you stretch it again the gap gets bigger and harder to refill with collagen and so on . This will lead to un even lobes , lobes with thin spots , and eventually split lobes

That is the very true reason you need to take time between stretches

it seems like you waited the right amount of time before you started stretching which is a good start but then you got over excited and started rushing -
I would downsize back to st least 14 and wait a good two months maybe 3-or 4 months since your ears suffered trauma . and then re start going only one size every 4-8 weeks

I know it seems like it will take forever to get to your goal this way but your outcome will be better .
would you rather stretch slow and have great ears for years to come ?
OR
stretch fast and have your goal size for only a year or so before they become so thin in spots that you will have to remove them ??

the choice is yours

Okay thank you(: I wasn't aware of all the technicalities !
I no longer own anything under 10g, so I will size down to those, and I'll take it from there as you said(:
