i just got my ears pierced this past friday and started out with 8g plugs. this is probably a dumb question, but am i able to go from plugs to tunnels? they advised me to start with the plugs, but i forgot to ask them if switching would be ok eventually... i'm pretty new to this so be gentle

I would wait a while before you switch to tunnels, but yes you can it just has to have a good heal before you do so I would say 2 months then you can go to tunnels, but if it isnt healed dont take it out.

^ Agreed. The only time jewelry should be changed in unhealed piercings is if the jewelry you were pierced with is causing problems. Wait until they're healed, which will probably be around 10-12 weeks. Most tunnels are pretty sharp and can be kind of rough to get in.
