1/2 in.

Hi everyone! I just stretched my ears up to 12mm thinking that it was 1/2 in, but then I saw that technically it’s 12.7mm (or something like that). Now I’m not sure what to do. I wanted to stop at half inch and I was thinking that it would be 12mm, but now I don’t know if I should go up to 13mm instead. Which one should I do? Is there a certain one that most jewelry will be?

So 1/2" is 12.7mm but when it comes to Jewelry 1/2" can be marketed between 12mm and 12.7mm depending on the company. Generally people can swap between 12mm and 12.7mm quiet easily and can have jewelry in both sizes. So, technically you are at 1/2". You can go up to 13mm but the jewelry options become quite limited compared with 1/2". I ordered plugs in 13mm just to ease the 2mm stretch up to 9/16 or 14mm.
