Fistula Healing Times?

Hey,

So I went up from 10mm to 12mm a week ago and my ears feel fine, not sore at all and I've been giving them salt baths aswell as massaging and rubbing them with Vitamin E cream.

I was wondering whether it would be wise to taper my ear to a 14 in one go and what the chances of tearing / blowouts are in my situation? How do you tell when your fistula is healed enough?

Thanks alot,

David

Re: Fistula Healing Times?

It would be wise to wait a couple more weeks. U could try to push the taper thru but if u get resistance then stop, dont force it cuz u can blowout or tear ur ear. Its ur body an if it feels healed then i dont see the harm in trying. good luck and happy stretching. =D
Left Lobe = 1 3/8in.
Right Lobe = 1, 3/8 in.

Thanks - stupid question but what would define as 'resistance'? A really tight feeling and excessive pressure required to push it through?

I'm gonna use some KY jelly and it should slide in fairly easy if it's ready shouldn't it? Or do you have to use abit more force when you get to bigger gauges?

+1

I would suggest you stretch to 13mm between though.

Lol not a stupid question, ur definition is definitly accurate. *A really tight feeling and excessive pressure required to push it through*
If its ready it will slide thru with litle to no resistance. I would recomend taping once u get to bigger sizes. Past 0g taping is alot easier and faster then tapers.
