Re: Going straight to a 12

There's no discomfort whatsoever. A month seems pretty reasonable. Thanks for the all your help.

No problem Cymlee. Just remember to wait about 2 months after going up after 14G, ear stretching is not a contest, it shouldn't hurt and requires patience ;)

You also went from standard to 7/16 in 3 months and have spoken of irritation and infections.

So I just but in the 14G captive bead rings in today and they went in much easier than a month ago. I dropped one of the beads down the sink so I just have them on without them. Is that a problem? Also, is there anything else that is safe to wear at this time? I just don't like captive beads rings that much. lol

You can wear barbells or labrets. Single & no flare plugs also exist at 14g

For the lost bead, you should be fine. Though it might spin around in your sleep and fall out.
I'd find another bead. Actual beads work great. You could at a pinch, also use a clean piece of eraser or rubber in there.

Awesome Cymlee :)
Yeah there is a variety of things you could wear... circular barbells are a bit more fancy than captive bead rings, Labret studs, plugs... you could go with a straight barbell as well, but I think it would be good to go with a shorter bar length. In my opinion a tongue barbell may be a little bit long for an earlobe, so if I were you I would look at nipple barbells (1/2" or shorter). :)

Re: Going straight to a 12

The bars for my nipples are longer than the one for my tongue :P

The barbells I wore in my ears were mostly around 6mm in length. I think. Labrets are comfier to lean on than giant balls though. So if you have a choice, labrets.

Thanks! I think I'm going to go with these http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdeta ... 99&index=8. They're steel plugs with no flare.
