About double flare plugs

Recently, i order from bodyjewelleryshop.com and upon receiving the orders, i have some confusion.

I was intending to get a 16mm as im at 16mm.
I realize that the flare itself was 16mm, not the wearable diameter. Therefore i have to downsize.
So normally what's the size of wearable diameter when the flare is at 16mm"?

I know their website wrote Outside Diameter: 16mm. But honestly, i think they should put the diameter of the wearable area instead of the outside diameter.

They should indeed have sent you a 16mm ish wearable. Depending on the style.. the wearable can be a little smaller. But the wearable should be around 16mm. The flares probably around 18mm.
What did you order??

Basically.. they sent you the wrong thing

If you haven't taken it out of the bag you can get it exchange/return it etc.
If you have.. then I guess you'll have to try and sell them or swap them or something.

I might be my fault that i did not see "Outside Diameter: 16mm"
So the outside diameter probably meant the flare.

Oh well, they didnt replied my mails for going a week, so even if i were to exchange, the 7 days were already over.

I've never heard of labeling double flares by their flare diameter and not wearable diameter. Seems like that's the number you need to know, and then you can tell from the picture how much larger the flares are and whether you can use them.

Most flares are in the area of 1-2mm larger, so they're probably no smaller than 14mm, unless the flares are huge in comparison.

I agree with twosharks. They sent you the wrong stuff buddy. I think so. Do you know their phone number and ask your doubt directly to them.
