I've seen 3/4 plugs close COMPLETELY with the help of preparation H and neosporin.
Don't ever think that their is one size that's the point of no return. Every earlobe, and body is different and heals differently as well.

It gets on my nerves when people are like "If you stretch past 2G they WILL NOT shrink and if you stay below that size they definitely will." You're right, everybody is different. I've heard of about three different people who were at 5/8" and got down to 14G-10G. I've also heard of people who go to 6G and can't get back to "normal." You should always keep in mind that there's a possibility of not shrinking no matter what size you stretch to. There's also a possibility that they will, but it's not something you should really risk.

I know someone that closed (2 TIMES) 1 inch earlobes.
He rubbed the inside with sandpapers
