bumps in my ears..
So I got my ears pierced in the middle of august and prior to that I've had these little lumps inside my ear. They weren't visible on the outside but if i grab my ear lobe i can feel a few small "balls" inside. From what I've been told it could be a pimple or scar tissue, but I had never had my ears pierced before so it can't be scar tissue right? Anyways, I stretched to 12g recently and it was a bit painful, I think mainly because of the balls in my ears feel so solid. Anyone know what I should do? I'm not sure if I should keep stretching while my ears are like this.. and is there a way I can get rid of these?

They're normal, they disappear in 1-2 weeks.

They are called cysts. U can pop them by stabbin it an drainin it with a safety pin. I ve had a few friends with cysts.
Left Lobe = 1 3/8in.

Could be a lot of things. Scar tissue, tiny cysts, a small pocket of pus like a zit. Don't go stabbing at your ear if you don't know if that will even help. It's more likely to cause problems than solve them.
Start massaging your earlobes every day, and give yourself more time between stretches. Massaging breaks up scar tissue, and anything else that it might be would probably also be disturbed by massaging. If the bumps themselves don't cause you discomfort or get larger, then I wouldn't worry about them, especially if more time and massages make stretching painless for you.
If you notice any changes, see a doctor about it. Even if they never change, if you've waited six months or more, massaging everyday, and stretching to 10g is painful with a lubed taper, then I might see a doctor anyway. Better to know what they are and how they will interfere with stretching in the future.

Did you have your ears pierced with a gun? If so that can create a lot of scar tissue. Also, you stretched way too early and unless you got pierced at 12G you skipped one or two sizes. Try leaving your original jewelry in for a few months and doing oil massages.

My ears were pierced at 16g, August 12th. I realize that I stretched a bit early, but I figured I'd try putting in my 12g jewelry if it wasn't too painful. It was painful, but I saw no blood or anything and it wasn't that sore the next day so I figured I would be fine. I dont know if it was a gunned or not. I was told by multiple tattoo/piercing shops that I could stretch to 12 in 6 to 8 weeks. Im going to start massaging my ears lightly everyday.. see if that helps.

You don't know if it was gunned? If it's a 16G it probably wasn't, though. Guns usually are 20-18G. Anyway, piercing/tattoo shops don't always give perfect advice, especially about stretching. It doesn't mean they're bad piercers, just that they need to research stretching a little bit more. You wouldn't believe some of the things people do to their ears because their piercers told them to. I've heard of piercers stretching people from an 18G earring to like 8G-6G in one sitting!
Stretching should really never be painful. If you leave the 12G in at least wait 8 weeks or so before stretching again. It's not something that should be rushed at all.

Yeah.. I didn't pay too much attention to what my piercer was using. I could always call them up and ask if I need to though. I know piercers don't always give good advice.. I ask about jojoba oil and some of them are clueless about what it is. One guy told me to use soap as a lubricant, which isnt a good idea right?
So i woke up this morning.. my right earring/baby tunnel came out while I was sleeping. I went to the mirror to look at the piercing and it had this hardened crust over the whole.. I peeled it off and saw green stuff in the hole, it really resembled pimple puss or whatever. So I squeezed out what I could, and noticed one of the balls in my ear migrated to my piercing. So I think theyre pimples or cysts or whatever. I put my earring back in after warming my ear a bit.. I plan on getting another O ring for the back, and start using holey butt'r on my ear. Good plan?
