I had both my ears pierced 2 weeks ago and bought 4 tapers (1.6mm, 2mm, 4mm and 6mm) I have inserted the 4mm into my left ear and the 2mm one in my right without feeling hardly anything. I was just wondering if I am stretching too fast and should slow down or if it is safe to continue?
I have been cleaning my ear daily with alcohol-based hand sanitizer and inserting the tapers with Vaseline.

As long as theres no pain i dont c u stretching to fast. Never force a taper tho! ever! u will rip ur ears if it hurts and u just force it thru. I waited 2 weeks every size, if u can wait longer then i did it would be a good idea but as long u listen to ur body u will be fine. Minor burning is all u should feel, never pain. Dont use alcohol hand sanitizer, it will dry out and irratate ur ear. U can use H2Ocean, which is amazing. Sea salt soaks(never dun these but i hear they are gud) If u cant afford H2ocean, unscented dial soap works to. good luck and happy stretching =D ne more questions just pm me.

You should not be stretching when your ears were only pierced 2 weeks ago.
Seriously, you can end up causing damage to your ears. You're supposed to wait at LEAST 5-6 months after getting a fresh ear piercing before stretching it.

Agreed. You should not be stretching this quickly. Your body is already trying to heal something it identifies as a wound, so you need to let your body do it's job first. If you keep trying to stretch your ears before they are completely healed, you are likely to get scar tissue build up (and that would be the least of your worries).
Let your ears heal up before you do anything more. I advise sea salt Soaks in warm water. After your ears are Healed, you should be waiting at least 2 months between stretching, and everybody heals at a different pace. Just take your time, it's not a contest. Ear stretching is a Body Modification, so it really is a good idea to do it right the first time around.

It's not a revolution, it's a lifestyle.

Stupid scare tactics?
It's the truth if you don't want to do harm to your ears.
Yes, everyones different and you should listen to your body. But there's no way your lobes would be ready for a stretch a week after the initial piercing.
As for the OP, You're stretching too fast, you shouldn't be wearing tapers as jewelry, you should replace them with suitable jewelry for unhealed piercings like glass or steel.
Don't use alcohol or vaseline on your earlobes, yes it'll kill the bacteria but it'll also harm the 'good' cells in your earlobes. The vaseline is thick, it'll just sit there and interrupt your piercing's healing.
You should definitely listen to what Hardware posted.
