4g Ears... Double Flare Tunnels... Help!

So on halloween my gf crammed my 4g tapers in my ears as I was seeing how far I could get them in (I had been at 6g for about 3 weeks) and they went in just fine... but i was getting really sick of the tapers after about a week so i bought stainless steel double flare tapers at nearby hot topic (I got the tapers from a friend and I didn't have any plugs.) I eventually got them in (a lot of twisting was involved) and i've had them in for about 2 weeks or so. here lies my problem... i can't take them out because I have to let my ears stretch (and getting them in was a ridiculously hard) so how can I sanitize them without taking them out and what should I use to properly sanitize them. as of now I've been using peroxide, soap, and water (I know thats what I shouldn't be using but I can't find any antiseptic to save my life). Help!!! D: I really don't want an infection or worse... cat butt :/

ok well first of all cat butt is usually caused from stretching too fast. and you've stretched too fast. it usually takes about 4-6 weeks to heal fully but could take more. you shouldnt have to use more than a little bit of pressure to go up to the next size and you definitely shouldn't "cram them in". you shouldn't wear tapers as jewelry, they are tools used only for stretching and at larger sizes can cause unnecessary irritation from moving around and uneven stretching from the uneven weight distribution. you also shouldnt use double flared plugs, but either single flared or no flared. you shouldnt use peroxide either. just sea salt soaks, and mild soap and water in the shower. peroxide will dry your ears out and will do more harm than good. if you cant take the plugs out then do sea salt soaks until you can.

dont think im judging you or being mean or unnecessarily cautious like some people on this board will tell you. im just trying to give out proper stretching and aftercare advice. more than anything just slow down from now on. if you take your time your ears will be easier to stretch, downsize, and will look healthier too

thank you and I know it was a little fast. My gf just pushed them in while i was messing with them. I was bored so i was seeing how far i could get them in and my gf decided to push them through (I did not consent lol) and next thing i knew they were in. It was pretty funny considering we were at a party when she did it lol. thank you for your advice and you didn't come off as mean or anything I barely use the peroxide (thank god) and mainly stick to the soap and water. I'm just looking foward to going up to a 2g sometime in december and not have to deal with double flares... they're nice and all but are a real bitch to get in. thanks again

well I have olive skin so my ears are naturally stretchy, but either way i'm cautious. and yeah the double flares were not a good idea. i mean they look awesome and everything but i only bought them because they were on clearance at hot topic and i was low on cash and severely needed something to put in my ears that weren't tapers. and they were so hard to get in. i've had them in for about 2 or so weeks and i like them but i wish i had bought some normal plugs instead :/

Double flares!! Tell me about it -_-
I bought 2 pairs a few weeks back off ebay. One pair was 8g.... but I didn't realize until it came in the mail the flare on it is 4g.... what the hell D:<
The other pair is 4g with about a 1g flare....

So they're basically just sitting in my collection, probably to never be used.

im wearing my first pair of double flares now (size 2g). they were such a bitch to deal with at first but now they pop in no problem. they still stick though if i dont put lotion on my ear to lube it though

I like my double flares but idk if i would buy them in bigger sizes. its kind of a hassle. maybe at 0 or 00g i'd buy a pair again but not for at least a month after stretching it.
