maybe torn at 6'? help=)

So I was at 10's for about a week and gauged up to 8's. It didn't hurt and I didnt feel anything and so like 4 days later(yes i know thats too fast usually) I went up to 6's. I took them out yesterday to clean(its only been like a day or 2) and the front looks fine but the backs kind look like they might have a microscopic tear? i think this cus of a little bit of skin flap i noticed very very small but it still bled when i took them out. anyways they dont necessarily hurt or anything but my friend said once she accidently tore alittle bit so she just left that size in and continued to clean it daily to prevent infection and it healed up in no time and she says I should do that too since its a very small tear(if it is at all). any opinions?

Note* I go to a piercing shop where they trade metal for metal so i just trade in my gauges i had for the next size up and have the people there put them in for me with the gauging needle cus its much quicker and easier cus im no good at gauging up on my own.

It actually sounds like a blow out, id go back to at least 10 or 8g do sum sea salt soaks, let it heal up 100% then slowly stretch back up.
Oh and BTW its called stretching, gauge is a form of measurement, sorry to be nit picky XD

^Agreed, and I'd stop going to that piercing studio. You have to be careful because even good piercers can sometimes know absolutely nothing about stretching. Besides, it's much better to do it yourself because a piercer can't feel your pain and can't stop if it's too soon!
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!
