Kaos earskin 1/4" wearable, within eu?

Does anyone know where I can get these, within the eu? Bodyjewelleryshop only has larger wearables.... and if I buy from the us / outside eu I risk taxes etc and it gets really expensive then...

Re: Kaos earskin 1/4" wearable, within eu?

Hi Acacia,

It depends on which version with bodyjewelleryshop.com as they do have a wide variety of sizes.
I have just looked, I am looking at getting some of these when I get nearer to 0 Gauge.
As getting them smaller than that makes it quite difficult to get in.

Maybe someone else can tell us if there are other suppliers within the E.U.

I have contacted my normal supplier to see if they can stock some of the more popular varieties.
They are on ebay and the company name is Alterdrome and their prices for jewellery is excellent and mostly sold in pairs.

Regards
Dr Rob.

Hi Rob, thank you for your answer :)

I emailed bodyjewelleryshop about their kaos earskins and they said that they only have wearbles between 8 and 10 mm, which is way too long for my ears.
Where do you see their wearbles on their site? Cos I can't find them anywhere and in the email they said, that they don't list the werable because they cannot promise which one they send, since their supplier just sends random sizes between 8 and 10 mm (?!).

I have had kaos earskins since 10g/2.4 mm and never had any problems putting them in. I have them now as well, in 6g/4mm, but when I move on to 4g/5mm the price gets just past the point of taxes etc and so I either have to buy them one at a time, which means double shipping, or find somewhere within the eu.

Do Alterdrome ship from within the eu?

Thanks :)

I can't think of any.
Though you could try getting your piercer to see if wholesalers have any. But I quickly glanced over some of the main wholesalers, and failed to find.

I order from BAF, a lot! In the notes part at checkout, put 'please mark as gift', as long as the orders under £40 (excluding discounts/sales) then it won't get stopped by customs.

I think customs fees are now 20% plus a 'handling fee' of £8ish. They don't open anything, I don't see how a sticky label can cost £8 :(
But America is cheaper.. so even if you do have to customs, you'll probably find it wouldn't work out much more.

Here in Denmark you have to pay customs when it is over $15 and it doesn't matter if it is a gift or not. And even if it is marked like $1 value, they can still claim that the actual value is much more and make you pay customs based on their estimate. There is really no getting around it. I have also been ordering from BAF until now, but at 4g the cost of a pair is $16...
