O-rings

How should they be used? "Glued" to the lobe or should I give some free space between them and the lobe?

Thanks in advance ;)

Re: O-rings

depends on what you're wearing, plugs or tapers or maybe even spirals?

I never use them because I never wear my tapers as jewelry and my spirals don't need o rings and I never had plugs with o rings.
But if you want to be sure your plugs or anything don't fall out of your ear, make sure the o rings are ''glued'' to your lobe, but not to tight ;-)

Re: O-rings

That is what I tought. I'm wearing a plug and if I don't use the o-rings i fear the plug falls from my lobe. Thanks for the answer :)

Re: O-rings

I usually leave as much room as possible depending on how long the plug is. If the plugs are really short sometimes you have to have them right up against your lobe, but if your plugs are long let your ears breathe a little and give them some room. If you're wearing them really tight I wouldn't recommend sleeping with them like that.

I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

If your plugs don't have grooves in them, I suppose I'd wear them tight, but all my plugs have grooves, so I leave them in there.

Re: O-rings

snug but not tight is the best way to go. you're ears need to "breathe" and if you have em too tight your ears could get irritated

Re: O-rings

I am new at this but recently had the orings tight against ear and slept that way. When I awoke they had made marks in ear. I now leave them loose this also makes it easier to mesage ears. This is just my opinion.
