Possible cut, need help on healing

I have my ears stretched to 1" and i have had them for quite some time with no issues at all. But sometime last week it started to hurt and i felt behind my ear and it feels as if there is a cut or something towards the bottom of my ear. Its making my ear a bit swollen and i cant sleep on that side of my head. I have surgical steel tunnels in my ear and i dont want to put in my wood ones for fear that my skin will heal to the plug itself. And I dont want to take it completely out cause i fear that it will go down a size. Any suggestions so that it heals? I take my tunnels out everyday when i shower and clean them, these past couple of days i have been spraying bactine on the cut to kill germs and anything. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

downsize, then your ear will heal faster. I think sea salt soaks would help too.
And maybe some vitamin E oil after your ear healed.
