Disguising an unhealed new stretch

Hi ppl, I'm new to the site. Just wanted to get some advice.

I'm currently at 6g/4mm and my goal is to go up to a 2g/6mm. I've fairly recently started a job in a coffee shop where 'officially' we can't wear earrings/plugs, but my manager is pretty cool and hasn't really said anything about the silicone hider plugs I've been using. (and hasn't said anything if I forgot to change them either which is nice!)

Obv working with food I need to keep my hair up so can't disguise the taper or anything. So my 2 questions are:

1: would it still be possible to stretch if I take the taper out whilst at work and replace it later, or would it actually get smaller?!

2: what can I use to disguise the hole during the initial 'I've stretched but need to be kept open' healing stage?

Any advice massively appreciated :)

Well tapers are tools so you shouldn't be wearing them. If you get a pair of plugs and cut a bandaid to fit around the front that is close to your skin tone it might work. That will work for a couple weeks until you can wear silicone

I prefer to stretch slowly and it has generally worked out over a couple of days.

But I'll give the plaster thing a go :)

Re: Disguising an unhealed new stretch

Just thought I'd leave a note incase anyone else stopped by this thread.

I found a clear glass top hat tunnel and put this in to the new stretch and to mask the hole whilst at work, I put my (now smaller) flesh color plug into the tunnel. (I had to trim the flare at the back a tiny bit so it would fit).

Anyway, you can still see a small ring of clear glass, but it helps camoflage it a bit :)
