Hello I'm Kevin :)
I was wondering when I could stretch.
I got my ears originally pierced at 10g and I got them stretched to 8g a month later (two weeks ago) and that's where I'm at right now.
I'm a n00b lol

Your piercer actually stretched you a month after the initial piercing? You need a new piercer. Now. Anyway, since the damage is already done, just keep it at 8 for several months, probably about 6 months since you've basically started back over by stretching a nowhere near healed piercing. 6 months and you should be good to move up to 6,and from there, roughly one stretch every 8 weeks or more depending on whether or not it is healed completely from the previous stretch.
2g lobes, want to be 0g

I agree, find a new piercer. You stretched about 5 months to early. Wait 6-8 months then you can stretch every 4-6 weeks after that as long as there is no pain or resistance.

I agree with them... your piercings may have seemed healed on the surface but there's very little chance that they were fully healed after a month. And besides, it's not enough to wait until they're just healed, you need to wait until they're strong enough to be stretched. I got pierced at 10G too, and I waited just under six months.
A lot of piercers don't know much about stretching, so be careful. I know it sounds crazy but take the advice of experienced people on this forum and others over most piercers.

I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!
