Hi everyone, well i'm new to this and i really want to get to a 2 (right now i fit a 12 in), but i have extremely sensative ears. i can't even wear constume jewelry earings. Anyway I started off using strechers that are made out of, i guess some sort of plastic, the ones that you can buy just about anywhere, i'm not really sure; however my ears just end up pussing, bleeding, and scabbing so i stop putting them in.

I just want to know if there is anything that i can do, or if there is any hypoallergenic strechers or something.

Sounds like your ears are really sensitive to acrylic, the plastic most cheap jewelry and tapers are made of. So from the sounds of it you are at 12g. That isn't bad, what type of jewelry do you have in right now? Sounds like titanium or Stainless steel, or Glass is the best thing for you. You can also get some Steel tapers.

If you are talking about a normal stud with butterfly back, then you are at 18 or 20g and not 12g. You need to take it one size at a time and go slow. Stay at each size at least a month.

ok thanx, i was wondering, do u think i would be sensative to polymer clay as well??
