First stretch fail- Please help

First stretch fail- Please help
So I just stretched for the first time today with 14g stainless steel tapers and plugs but I can only get the left side in! I did it after a hot shower, lubed up with vitamin E oil but I still can't get the right side in. It goes half way and refuses to budge. Does anybody else have this problem? What should I do? It's bizarre because the left one went in with no problems.
